...Thanksgiving!  Smiley from millan.net

I am thankful for my family and the opportunity to gather together today for dinner.  I am thankful for my friends and stampin' buddies who inspire me with their enthusiasm for creating.  I am thankful for my freedoms, given to me because of the men and women who are serving overseas and making the sacrifices so that I can sit down to dinner with all my family.  If you have a family member who won't be with you this year because they have chosen to fight for this country, my hat is off to you and them.  You are making the sacrifice too.  Thank you.

So I hope those of you who are traveling will have a safe trip, and those of you who are cooking will have no lumps in your gravy, and those of you who are just eating will remember those elastic waist pants!Smiley from millan.net

I made this card for you all especially for today....my own "turkey" so to speak....

...having my bathroom remodel almost done!

The contractor will be in today to seal the grout, and install the exhaust fan, and a few odds and ends and HE WILL BE DONE!  We are still waiting on the vanity top...another week or two before that comes in.  We can get going on the painting this weekend, so things are really winding down now.  I am really pleased with how it is coming together, and can't wait for it to be totally done!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my family will be together for the day for fellowship and food.  It will give us all a chance to remember how much we have to be thankful for and share our appreciation for all the family.

I hope you have safe trips if you are traveling, and delicious dinners if you are cooking...oh...and be sure to wear elastic waist pants!

...the fall-like weather, even though it is late November!

I know it is about to change, the weatherman says cold on Thursday, chance of snow flurries too!  But that is okay.  I can't believe we have been blessed with this beautiful weather this long!  I'll grumble and complain when the snow and ice come, but will have to remember that it really isn't that long to deal with.  I will just take one snow storm at a time!

Hard to believe it is only two more days until Thanksgiving.  A chance to spend time with all my family (except one niece and her family who lives in Texas), is priceless.  I hope you have great plans for the holiday.  Be sure to take a minute to count YOUR blessings.
